HMN Second Anniversary Picnic

Can you believe it's been 2 years already? Our chapter keeps growing.
We celebrated on a windy, cool day at Buckland Lodge in Brighton.

HMN Kids Event at Rochester Roots!

We had a great time helping out at Rochester Roots! Thank you for planning our day at the Rochester Roots garden yesterday Mary. We had 5 mamas and their kiddos - We planted and watered lettuce and met some of the neighborhood kids. One 8 year old girl from the neighborhood, Sierra, was given a whole row in the garden for herself and her family this summer because she comes to volunteer so often. Jan from Rochester Roots was very appreciative.

Swap Party!

We all walked away with a treasure or two-- Solved a few of the world's problems in the process too!

HMN kids got their yoga groove on at Mary Mellody-Rundberg's house yesterday. HMN member and YogaEd instructor Nikkie Murphy led a roomful of kids aged 1-7 in a fun afternoon of yoga.

Children's Spring Event

We had a great time yesterday at Mary Mellody-Rundberg's house looking for signs of Spring! We planted violas in pots that we painted. We found crocus, moss, lichen, buds, deer evidence and mystery footprints in the snow!

It has truly been a powerful month with high energy gatherings and meetings. We have also processed about 10 new member applications this year making our membership rise to well over 40 people!

Upcoming Events

Last week we welcomed Imago therapist Linda Grice to speak at our meeting. What a fantastic meeting with 2 new members, pushing us over 40 total members!!!

In March, we will have our Health Faire planning meeting. Also, as a Mom's Night Out event we will be watching THE SECRET at Dr. Heather Feinman's office on South Ave. In April, we will be cleaning out at a SWAP PARTY! Times to be announced!

Also, mark your calendars---playdates are held every Tuesday at 3:30, time and place vary in the winter!

February 2007

This month's meeting is on Holistic Marriage with a local Imago therapist. We welcome all to come (moms, dads, kids, grandparents) and join us in a lively discussion. Our meetings are held at 36 S. Main St., Pittsford at the Christ Episcopal Church. February 12th at 6:30pm. To thank the church for donating the space we take food donations for the local food cupboard. We also ask participants to refrain from wearing fragrance as we have many chemically sensitive individuals. We hope you can make it!
