May 11, 2105 Meeting (6:30 – 8:30 pm) Learn the “Essentials” of Using Essential Oils and What It Means to Be a Nationally Certified Aromatherapist with Mindy MacLaren

Through this Q&A style seminar, Nationally Certified Aromatherapist Mindy MacLaren will answer your questions helping to bring her knowledge into your home! Mindy will explain the basic do’s and don’ts of essential oils while speaking on the importance of understanding of where to get your information of use and know-how. She will also speak about what it means to be a Nationally Certified Aromatherapist and how it pertains to your health and safety.

A Rochester native and currently a Penfield resident, Mindy first learned about aromatherapy in the early 1990’s while attending college in Boston. Around 2005, she became interested in learning how to live a chemical/pesticide-free life and came back to aromatherapy. She completed Aromahead’s Aromatherapy Certification Program in November 2008 and is currently enrolled in Aromahead's Advanced Graduate Program.

In 2008 Mindy started her Company, Sweet & Woodsy, which is thriving today! You will find quite an array of products ranging from household cleaners to specially blended lotions all derived from essential oils.
