Chocolate Making Workshop with Laughing Gull Chocolates Monday, December 11, 2017 (6:30 - 8:30 pm)

Ready to try something new? Roll up your sleeves and learn the secret to making great tasting chocolate with Laughing Gull Chocolates' owner and Chief Chocolatier, Lindsay Tarnoff. During this hands on session, participants will practice the art of truffle-making from ganache to dipping while engaging in a conversation about the history of chocolate. You will go home with a small assortment of truffles and endless bragging rights as a chocolate connoisseur! We kindly ask each attendee to bring $10 to cover the cost of the truffles you will be making to take home.

Laughing Gull Chocolates was conceived out of a long-standing love affair with chocolate, a fascination with the story of chocolate, and a desire to use chocolate as a vehicle for social change. Lindsay has devoted time and passion in developing a meaningful mission, delicious recipes, and a strong business, first in her native Rhode Island, then in her adopted home of Rochester, NY. In addition to sharing her love of chocolate with the community, Lindsay ensures that each and every ingredient in Laughing Gull products are ethically and locally produced. Throughout the process, Lindsay uses chocolate as a catalyst to make a difference in the community and around the world. This fall, she is opening a brick and mortar shop in the North Winton Village neighborhood!http://www.laughinggullchocolates.com/
